Implementation

Our consultants have been implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365® and Microsoft Dynamics AX® since 2004, going back to Axapta 3.0 and have been successfully implementing all versions including Dynamics AX2012 R3 using AX-Solutions Framework (ASF) methodology and we are looking forward to Microsoft Dynamics “Rainier” and future versions and deployments.

Our business process focus and in-depth Microsoft Dynamics 365® and Microsoft Dynamics AX® experience help clients make the best decisions regarding process changes which align with out-of-the-box solutions or explore customizations.

We have extensive experience with customizations and provide clients with design documents to make sure we understand the requirements and will provide estimates based on this. In case of very complex requirements, as required by Hagler Systems, we build a pilot to make sure that we are going to deliver a solution that will meet the client’s needs, instead of spending time and efforts building something that is not the best solution. We are very transparent in what we design and develop, and we spent the appropriate amount of time on the design making sure it is stable and to client’s satisfaction before doing development. We have delivered very complex customizations, and we look forward to delivering new and challenging solutions.

Integration

We are experienced in deploying web-services, BizTalk, Scribe and using Microsoft Dynamics 365® and Microsoft Dynamics AX® Application Integration Framework (AIF) enabling the exchange of data through XML.

We understand best-of-breed solutions, and we are experts in system architecture design and optimally connecting various systems. 

AIF provides an extensible framework for the exchange of XML documents with external systems. The framework supports both synchronous and asynchronous types of transport (for large volumes of messages that can be processed more efficiently) and can be used to send data into Dynamics 365/AX or retrieve data from Dynamics 365/AX.

 


 

Upgrades

Upgrading Microsoft Dynamics 365® and Microsoft Dynamics AX® versions are technical processes requiring experienced technical resources and aided by immersion in Microsoft's Dynamics roadmap.

Aware of Microsoft's Dynamics roadmap, we have successfully upgraded many clients from Dynamics AX 2009 to AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 and have this down to a "form of art" providing clients with most competitive bids and providing the highest quality. Our clients include installs of other VARs that we upgrade as we are highly experienced in this area and can do this mostly remote, saving client’s time and money. Upgrading requires clients to do testing as our philosophy is shared responsibility with open and honest communication which is mutually beneficial. Our lead technical solution architect has been working closely with Microsoft and helped to improve the process.

Data Migration

 

We pride ourselves to recognize that data migration needs are different for each client and we critically look at all needs and offer most pragmatic solutions. 

When needed, we leverage Microsoft Dynamics 365® and Dynamics AX Data Import/Export framework and configure it to work for client specific instances, as happened with The Seattle Times. We also strongly advocate for data-cleanup and making sure efforts spent are translating into reliable data. Like any other work we do, we approach data migration from a functional business point of view, and our functional and technical resources work closely together, keeping this perspective. Part of successful data migration is client’s role, and we communicate expectations up-front and keep clients posted on progress and mutually agreed upon deliverables and milestones.

Training

We provide various product training sessions during implementation phases. 

We provide standard product overview training delivered to super users providing a general introduction/explanation of the product using sample company data provided by Microsoft®. For end-user training the training received previously is being applied and reinforced. Our train-the-trainer approach next step is that the trained client super user(s) teach the other non-core project team member end users. However, we adapt to client’s needs if that works better in a particular situation. We also provide training on-site or remote if needed independent of our implementations (during those implementations or after go-live) and/or for specialty subjects considered for future phases or reinforcement of concepts due to personnel changes.

Support

AX-Solutions, LLC implementation (ASF) methodology Deploy phase focuses on post Go-Live stabilization and has a transition to support model. 

We offer premium Microsoft Dynamics 365® and Dynamics AX support services with different models to meet client’s needs:

  • Direct support from AX-Solutions, LLC
  • Microsoft Dynamics Premier Support
  • Combination of both

Many of our clients opt for the first and latter options and for this model we have various options to meet client’s needs to achieve a cost-effective solution while proving quality solutions on a timely basis. Our support analysts are very experienced implementing Dynamics 365 and Dynamics AX and familiar with industry and business challenges and will solve issues and requests.
